RESTYLANE

Restylane® products are cosmetic dermal fillers that replace lost volume and restore youthful contours to the skin to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds).

Restylane and Perlane® are made of hyaluronic acid. In the human body, natural hyaluronic acid provides volume and fullness to the skin. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane and Perlane has been modified slightly to last longer than the body's hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane and Perlane is produced by a biotechnical process.

Restylane and Perlane are hydrophilic or "water loving." The hydrophilic nature of these hyaluronic acid molecules and their three dimensional structure allows them to bind many times their own weight in water. As hyaluronic acid begins to degrade, each molecule binds to more water which helps to maintain its volume for about six months.

Restylane and Perlane contain no animal proteins. This limits any risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reactions. Restylane and Perlane contain trace amounts of gram-positive bacterial proteins and are contraindicated for patients with a history of allergies to such material. No allergy testing is required before use.

JUVADERM

Juvéderm® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Your healthcare professional eases Juvéderm® injectable gel under the skin to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your “smile lines” or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds—the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth).

Juvéderm® provides a smooth, natural look and feel—so everyone will notice (but no one will know)! In fact, studies show superior results of Juvéderm® compared to a collagen-based dermal filler.†

  • Almost 90% of all study volunteers who were treated with both Juvéderm® injectable gel and another dermal filler† preferred Juvéderm®!
  • Juvéderm® injectable gel is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is proven to be safe and effective for persons of color.

RADIESSE

Radiesse is a long lasting injectable implant/dermal filler, which is composed of synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres, suspended in a gel carrier. These microspheres, once injected, provide a scaffolding, into which the body's own tissue can grow, thereby maintaining the implant in place.

CaHA is a biomaterial with over twenty years of use in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, dentistry and ophthalmology and is the primary mineral constituent of bone and teeth. Radiesse is created by suspending CaHA in a common water based carrier. Because the characteristics are similar to bone and teeth, it is naturally compatible with the body. Radiesse is synthetic and man made, similar to a calcium phosphate and has been extensively tested in clinical trials for over 7 years, with good safety and efficacy results

Radiesse can be used on many different areas of the face including:

  • Glabella(wrinkles between the eyebrows)
  • Nasolabial folds (laughter lines)
  • Radial lip lines
  • Chin/cheek augmentation
  • Depressed scars
  • Restoring bulk to ageing/hollowed tissue

BOTOX LEG VEINS: SCLEROTHERAPY

Millions of women are bothered by spider veins - those small, yet unsightly clusters of red, blue or purple veins that most commonly appear on the thighs, calves and ankles. In fact, it’s estimated that at least half of the adult population is plagued with this common cosmetic problem. To accommodate the increasing demand of our clientele, we offer a variety of minimally invasive procedures.

Sclerotherapy

A solution, called a slerosing agent, is injected into the veins. The injection causes a sclerosis of the formation of fibrous tissue in the vessel. This process causes a gradual fading of the treated vessel over a period of several weeks to several months.

Laser Vein

Small spider veins on the face and legs can be treated with an Intense Pulse Light energy. The laser energy is used to coagulate the blood, thus causing the vessel wall to collapse. Over time the vessel is reabsorbed by the body and disappears. Several treatments may be required to achieve a noticeable difference. Treatment should not be performed on tanned skin, either from direct sunlight or chemical tanning products.
